Desktop.SMS is a viable alternative to voice and voice messaging.
With Desktop.SMS simply type a short message into the text box on the PC, then choose who the message is to go to from the electronic phone book (select either an individual, several individuals or a specific group) and press the send button, it's really that simple.

Messages sent and those received can be easily viewed by selecting the messages received or sent TAB.

Messages can be sent immediately or scheduled to be sent at a particular time.

If you has some standard messages that are used often, then Desktop.SMS allows you to store frequently used messages.

Desktop.SMS/gsm - GSM modem and Desktop.SMS software
Desktop.SMS/sw - Desktop SMS software only (existing mobile phone or GSM/CDMA modem required)

• Desktop.SMS is supported on Windows 95 and more recent versions and runs over the mobile phone networks provided by Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Virgin & Orange.
• Desktop.SMS is not supplied with a SMS activated SIM card, this should be sourced from your chosen network provider.
